Cal Middleton, formally of Smithville, MO, recently moved his horse training business to Ottawa, KS. Just a few weeks at his new home and he made the short trip back to Kansas City, MO for the Worldwide Paint Horse Congress. After two rounds and 3 days of competition, Cal was unanimously named as the winner under all 8 judges in the Solid Paint Bred Open Reining assuring him the World Paint Horse Congress Championship. Cal was aboard Mr Bay Jewel, a 6 yr old paint gelding owned by Garry and Carla Powell of Smithville.
